Cigarette manufacturers make a profit at less than $ 0.08 per pack. In fact, Fed, state and an assortment of taxes make up most of the cost to consumer.

With illegal drugs becoming cheaper on the free market, we will see a rapid increase in the use of marijuana, heroin, cocaine, etc. and ancillary costs.

P.S. Where is Jocelyn Elders with her eminent proposal to ban tobacco and legalize drugs ?
