Good point, Dave.

I don't think the CEO's are all in it just for themselves. A hearty stock price benefits the company big time. That influx of cash allows the company to invest in new endeavors. Also, the name recognition and publicity the company gets from a big runup can do wonders for a company. Nobody at NAVR is looking to sell their souls to run it up, but netradio (and NAVR) will benefit from netradio being a HOT IPO. The companies themselves, not just the shareholders.

There are as many CEO's with different personalities and prejudices as there are companies. And sometimes the actions they take may not be the best for long term but an absolute necessity in the short term to try and insure the lomg term.
