Scott, I sure do not disagree about many of the present day internet flyers. ( Personally enthusiastic about AXC right now, but wouldn't touch Amazon myself.) There is always of course much more to it than liking the product ...that just serves as a starting point for investigation...all decisions within each individual style. ( however, as an aside, as a consumer I have found certain books records and videos at Amazon that I could not find elsewhere - and they make the experience quick and painless ...so the " brand" name already holds some pop for me. I now look their first.) I, however, do vigorously disagree if you are saying ( I am not sure you are) that the resurrection of the Ampex name in the public eye is a long term waste of time. But that's a debate for another day. Off for a month to take care of a long long laundry list of mundane stuff to do I have been postponing. Good luck and peaceful sleeping to all. Will be fun catching up with this addictive forum. Always an education and pleasure for me.
