Frank, I agree that the new IBM mini HD will find several special niches to fill, but believe that it will not be in direct competition with the Clik! drive. I did find the Clik! was in-stock at the Fry's Electronics supermarket down in Phoenix yesterday. It was not in a special display but was just on one of the aisles on the other side of the digital cameral display table. It would have been nice to have had them displayed right above the cameras but at least they were fairly close by. Lots of Zips, Buz, Jaz and Ditto on display throughout the store and USB Zips were prominently displayed at the end of aisles not far from the Apple iMac and G3 displays. I guess the Clik! is still too new of a product. When I spoke to one of the head clerks, he said that in that Syquest, which made better products, is now out of business, that the Zip drive was the best removable drive available. He didn't have much good to say about the Imation Super drive though. But then I really don't expect much from the floor clerks anyway.

Iomega should have had a nice introductory display for the Clik! right next to the digital camera table as this would help the consumer know the digital camera connection. Not sure how they are handling the introduction in other stores. Fry's store is so huge I can imagine that they have trouble even finding new space for the Clik!
