There is a low level of market sophistication at this end. My "hedge" comments revolve around no long positions, small put positions (especially in semi/PC sector stocks), plenty of cash, keep an eye on the U.S. bonds and dollar (Euro bias), maybe a bit of gold, and no shorting unless the bankruptcy court hearings are over and the debt holders take over tonight. (g)

I tend to view the market as already paying an unseen dividend to those in deep cash in the form of an exceptional increase in the value of that cash on the backside of a crunch.

With respect to the above, I'm getting to hate my nick name, even though it is self imposed. (g)
