Check out Suretrade and Scottrade. I use and like both. Low commissions--Suretrade $7.95 & (limit) $1 and Scot $7 and $13. Suretrade has better free research, but Scot is reliable, easy to use, and fast. Also with fast confirmations by E mail. Also, at least in my area and in many others, a local office that I can get to in person in about 15 min. I hate Ameritrade. Real time quotes are slow and hard to read.
Available research very poor. I've gradually sold everything I had in it and am not putting anymore in it. I don't understand why its stock is so highly valued.
Good Luck,
Jo
