John, thanks for the response. You are right -- SWS is "partly" an internet stock. So my question still stands: should one expect it (SWS)to fall as abruptly as it has risen?

I note that other on-line brokerages have had a real major run these past few days. Typically, most of them are either no-earnings, and probably no-future companies, or else they are vastly overpriced (Ameritrade).

Will someone PLEASE explain to me why it is that companies with negative earnings, negative p.e.'s, etc., have been doing better in the market than solid companies?? Is it because most people buying into internet/telecommunications stocks are day-traders, and so don't give a hoot about the valuations of a stock they are only going to hold for a few hours???

Congratulations to longs. We're starting to get attention now. SWS was #4 on NYSE top % gainers today. 5 good days in a row.

I still think there is lots of headroom.
