(Or take a job with the USPS. The same carrier who works in the NY Metro area almost always needs two incomes to live at the level they want to, while the carriers in the sticks live like kings and queens.
I know life is'nt fair, but it's becoming increasingly obvious that area wages are needed in some jobs. )

If it weren't for governmental market interference, in the form of minimum wages and a coercive corrupt conspiracy with the unions, among other things, nothing would be more automatic than an adjustment of wages to match regional conditions to balance supply and demand.
