Yes, normally, price action like today means some news has leaked. But there is now a caveat necessary: with the advent of more and more day traders, sometimes these things just are snowballs rolling down hill. In any case, I hope the caveat goes unused and that either the earnings finally comes through big time, or TJX or ROST just walks
away with LOEH.

I forgot to add the obvious: namely, that LOEH insiders now know how sales went in January, in Q4 (which ended in January), and can easily estimate Q4 earnings. If same store sales increased significantly, and gross margins were maintained, then their earnings should be a blowout. That COULD be what leaked.
