This should be of interest to AMAT shareholders: KLA Tencor Chief Financial Officer Robert Boehlke said the chip gear company (KLAC) aims to dominate the process-diagnostics market, the third-fastest part of the semiconductor capital-equipment industry. He said his company is likely to have "good bookings" in the fiscal third quarter, ending in March, and the fiscal fourth quarter, ending in June. Boehlke, noting that revenue "bottomed out" in December, said sales may "inch up slightly" in the company's third quarter.
