<These guys from Microsoft are great - they know how to take code written by Intel and put it in one of their products - and get it out on time>

Here's another example of Intel coding features for Microsoft Windows. Back when I installed Windows 98, I was eager to try the Disk Optimization feature which rearranges programs so that applications load up faster at startup. When I saw the Intel logo on that very feature that Microsoft advertised as one of the "cool" new things about Win98, it gave me a warm feeling inside.

Of course, I haven't seen too much of a difference after using the utility, but that could be just my Seagate Cheetah 10,000 RPM SCSI hard drive running a little too fast for Win98 to handle.
