I prefer to think the GOP Congressmen/women who knucked under to the party's radical wing are weak-willed

Weak willed???? lol, that coming from you who loves Bill so much. Talk about weak willed, he who cannot even turn down one little intern.

workplace relations (read: sexual harrassment),

You have already said on this forum Irb, that sexual harassment is a "low crime" so it's not high on the list of worrying about

effect of the scandal

At least you got this right. It is scandalous how Bill has used his position to lie to you.

<< I prefer to think the GOP Congressmen/women who knucked under to the party's radical wing are weak-willed rather than dishonorable. >>

Interesting point. To take it one step further: The Republican Lemmings on this thread have said that the Republican House Radicals were acting on principle and don't mind being thrown out of office by an angry public in the 2000 elections.

But, instead of principle, it seems to be the opposite. As you so wisely point out, it is because they are weak-willed and knuckled under to the radicals that pull their strings.

This election in 2000 will truly be the election of the millennium. I can't wait. It is going to be interesting, nastier than normal as Republicans fight for their political life the only way they know, and full of surprises!

I call it the "Trial the of Millennium, the People versus The Republican Party", because it will give the people of this country a chance to put the Republican Party on trial for abuse of power and complete disrespect for the wisdom and wishes of the American People!

Regards, Bob
