Yogi, I think your view is accurate, diplomatic, and generous to Ted and CNBC. As far as FNN, your memory is better than mine. I was an avid watcher and loved it, but the FNN years and the early CNBC years blend together for me, so I could never have differentiated between them the way you did.

One thing that is a little tough for me to do is to determine what is CNBC/FNN and what is me in terms of sophistication (i.e Did I outgrow it?). I know much more about investing in 1999 than I did say fifteen years ago. One problem I have with CNBC is that they always have to cater to the sophistication of the rookie investor. So, being selfish, it would have been more valuable to me if the programming could have gotten more and more advanced over the years. I just don't find that that happened. I just reach for the remote control when I see a financial planning show and hear "Max out your 401k".
