Earlie, CompUSA just can't execute. Tandy either. Best Buy is deemphasizing boxes. Circuit City can't walk and chew gum at the same time. So, we have to buy CDWC stock. They are obviously selling all the boxes in America and the only beneficiaries of the boom. Wonder why the stock is heading, like the old Mountie show, "Due South?" <G>

Earlie, I'm surprised you didn't mention that CPU inventories increased about 36%: Merchandise inventories 815,825 vs 520,762.

ok, Earlie,

gloat all you want about the CompUSA earnings ... same store sales down, units up, but ASPs down 20% (!), inventories up, what, 60% - some huge number like that, etc etc etc.

but who'm I gonna believe? You, or EVERYONE else. PCs are booming! Don't you get it? Don't you read the articles? Don't you listen to the analysts?

Earlie, folks are making a bundle. This is a bull market, heck, it's a new era. This bearish talk is a real annoyance.

hehehe <g> Peter

data? we don't need no stinking DATA! got it? <g>

ummm, nice call on what's going on in the market, btw. Is it hard to stand up and say this is "x" when everyone else swears it's "y"?
