Jim, you couldn't be more right on the point. Tero is a rare find- an analyst with insight, even handedness and objectivity. I also have followed him around the web and he has never, to my knowledge, been way off the mark. I love to see him square off with the CDMA guys- reminds me of the old remark- "I'd like to challenge you to a battle of wits, but I see you came unarmed!" Regards,

So how do IDC get around QCOM's CDMA IPR?

I've already checked out IDC's web page describing
B-CDMA (http://www.interdigital.com/b_cdma.shtml).
No mention of QCOM there. They do mention WLL and PCS markets.

I vaugely remember some sort of settlement between QCOM and
IDC. Can anyone shed any light on this for me?
