Kevin or any front-office developer,

I need a techie perspective on Oracle vs. Siebel and what each claims is web-enabled vs client/server. Siebel clearly is doing the right thing as it is putting up big numbers but I wouldn't mind hearing your thoughts on why Larry is so keen on his web-enabled apps when he has no referenceable sales to speak of...

What is interesting is that Tom has said that Oracle reps still use the Oasis SFA app he developed for Oracle in 1989 and Larry (on the conference call) could only say that Oracle was 'rolling-out' different SFA modules to ORACLE reps 'this quarter' and 'this summer.'

any thoughts??
