You and Dan belong together. For YEARS he went into severe depression during the week Spring Training began because HE WASN"T THERE where he BELONGED. Where God MEANT for him to be. A normally quiet man, even taciturn, he will wax eloquently and at length about BAs, ERAs, SOs, BOBs, UFOs. WHen the abbreviated season began, the Mavericks were on the radio talking about a sellout crowd at a pregame. I said to Dan, "Wow! I'm really surprised!" HE said, "penni, they let everyone in free." Oh. Well, still, they were lucky people came at all, I think.
