La Bamba...makes you thankfull for life. It is fleeting and can leave at any second.

Q#2 Who can name the artist who wrote and performed
"Bye Bye Miss American Pie"? A tribute to this tragedy.

In speaking to the Kabash clan I have been told that RG believes that the biggest long-term money maker will be the NMF deal. Also, when I spoke to NMF they were extemely excited about the deal. An add was places in each program at the American Music Awards, maybe we are just working on other deals right now.

Let's get some facts straight: Waylon Jennings gave his seat up to J.P. "The Big Bopper" Richardson because Richardson had the flu. Waylon played the bass in the "Crickets" and the last concert was held at the the "Surf Ballroom" in Clear Lake, Iowa. They were headed for Moorhead, Minnesota when the plane went down. A young 15 year old lad by the name of Bobby Vee filled in for Buddy Holly in Moorhead. He later went on to record "Take Good Care of My Baby". Bobby Vee and the Crickets will be playing at the "Surf Ballroom" this Saturday night to commemorate the 40th anniversary of "The Day the Music Died". By the way, that term was coined from Don McLeans 1972 hit, "American Pie".
