I just got home and I am curious about MRVC also. By the way I thought this was interesting. It was in this weeks IP PULSE: IDT announced that France Telecom, Deutsche Telekom, Swisscom NA and Telefonica have all inked agreements to establish a direct fiber connection between the companies to provide better international long distance services to several European markets. According to the terms of the agreement, each of the European providers will connect its international switching POPs with IDT's facilities in both the U.S. and the UK. Each of the five providers in this deal is either providing a commercial Internet telephony service or testing one. The interconnection of the networks will provide each carrier with a larger network footprint from which to terminate VoIP calls.
