Well, tech2000, I live in MSFT country. It's really easy to find MSFT people here. Half of my classmates work there, most of them are very arrogant, pompous a$$ in my class. Most of them have stock options that they couldn't realize for several years, which worth from 500K to several mills. Most of them are underpaid by industry standard but don't give a $hit because they make that up in stock options. Most of them drive nice cars but don't care about appearance. Most of them own nice properties in the nicest part of the town. Most of the contractors they hire get low-ball salary. Most of the secretaries in MSFT aren't good-looking. Most of the guys in MSFT work to damn long hours that they have problems finding a date (went to a single party last week, and have of the guys are from MSFT, with not much social skills picking up women.) I hate the company, but MSFT is my biggest holding in my portforlio, 37%. I hope DOJ ram the case up its a$$. The video guys are so stupid that they can't even capture the right screen shots.

Well, since you made so much money in this stock, why don't you reserve the presidential suite in the Ritz Carlton Hotel here? Hey maybe you will move here since there is no state income tax in this state, and if you buy a MSFT employee license plate, people in here will worship you, you will get to drive the car-pool lane alone without getting a ticket from the cops. Women will flop to you if you have some decent social skills. It's really a nice place. If you want the nicest hotel number, I can give it to you too.

Sorry if I sound so negative, but I am a SUNW person, java person, I used their machines and the UNIX system. UNIX isn't the best OS in the world, but neither is NT or Windows. But 40-60M lines of code? No thanks, give me a microkernel and let me write the rest or configure the rest. If I don't have a ethernet card on my PC, don't give me OS support on ethernet in the Kernel. As far as technical skills go, MSFT can't match with Billy Joy and his people in SUNW. Marketing genius no doubt in my mind. The corporate culture in MSFT is no doubt that guys can talk a good talk, but it's mostly hollow. It shows in our class, the MSFT guys can throw out the latest, most advanced jargons in the industry, but when it comes to putting it together, they make no sense.

Mary , I also want to attend the next meeting. I am very grateful to Mr. William Gates and Microsoft. I just want to see the people of Microsoft - and express my appreciation.
I sure would like information on the shareholder meeting so I can make my plans(or change my plans).
