Bill, I'm not sure why the fuel cell engine is so large unless it's because they are using Chrysler's first (primitive) effort at a FC engine. The Ballard fuel cells themselves are not that large. I suspect that is why they will showcase Daimler's Necar 3 in the next version. As you probably know Necar 3 is a subcompact and has the most advanced FC engine to-date. It uses a methanol reformer that Daimler just announced they had reduced in size by 40% with no degradation in performance. It used to take up the back seat but it now fits in the trunk.
