WS's not paranoid. WS needs minimal intelligence to conclude the obvious. You don't cancel conferences because you have good news to report. In fact, it is precisely at these type of events that you let out any positive news/events you can muster. In this case, they are canceling even in the face of a GTW win. WS paranoid?....I don't think so. The only question is 'how bad is it'? My guess...current outlook calls for red ink this quarter.

Is today a record for AMD shares traded??? It was the most heavily traded stock on the Dow....Sorry AMD investors, but a stock doesn't drop 15% like this in an afternoon based on the Vantis chief getting the axe...This is old news anyway.

I'm guessing a FURTHER delay in K6-3 because of yield problems at 400+ Mhz may be the cause of meeting cancellations....and the AMD story continues. How can Jerry "we're back" Sanders still be in charge???
