AMD: Richard Forte resigns as Chief Executive of Vantis Corporation
FEB 3, 1999, M2 Communications - SUNNYVALE, CA -- AMD and its wholly owned subsidiary, Vantis Corporation, today announced that Richard Forte has resigned as president and chief executive officer of Vantis.
Richard Previte, chairman of the board of Vantis, will serve as acting CEO pending appointment of a successor to Forte. Frank Barone, chief operating officer of Vantis, will serve as acting president.
