to thread FWIW:

DBCC: Marketwatch initial S-1 filed 10/13/98, IPO launched 1/15/99 (~3 mo)

MALL: Ubid initial S-1 filed 7/2/98, IPO launched 12/4/99 (~5 mo)

Typically, the initial S-1 is followed by a number of amended "Initial Registration Statements" which the SEC peruses and comments on. This may lead to additional amendments (S-1A) which the SEC looks over and... You get the idea. This naturally takes time. Thus, even if NAVR files the initial S-1 next week, it will likely be some time before the IPO is launched. I (and I think Zurdo too) am currently looking at historical price movements in companies who own majority stakes in these IPOs (e.g., MALL, DBCC) in order to predict likely pricing action for NAVR as the IPO approaches.

As this is largely speculation based on historical data from other companies, it may not apply to the NAVR-NETRADIO ipo and I will thus not post my predictions on the thread. Anyone interested in my hunches based on this analysis can PM me and I'll share my thoughts.

Good luck to all...

L~

Byron said <Sell at the open tomorrow, the downside in next week is huge.>#6144. Get your mind right!!! While I'm at it I might as well change my profile name to DumbA$$.<---Maybe that was harsh. I see the tempers are starting to flair as expected. The scare tactics are starting to flow. What's next? Oh yeah, so and so are coming over. Options are going to start trading. What shall I do? No warries Mate, as they say down under. I know what I have. Can Johnny come out and play? "I'm a skinny little boy from Cleveland Ohio come to chase your women and drink your beer". I'm an avid Rock-N-Roll buff. What I hear on NETRadio sounds pretty damn good to me. The CD prices are good as well. Let us not forget the software and the advertising potential....What a concept. Possible buyout? The list goes on and on. Just like me. HEHEHE. One would expect this qtr. for NAVR to be one of their best.<--Remember this. That's right folks don't touch that dial, I'm stashing some away. We are going for a ride. Big money is waking up, some of it is already here. "C'mon baby let the good times roll". "You aint seen nothin' yet"! Are we having a party?
Go NAVR !!!!!
