I'd like to see it being used more for general-purpose clients moving towards a GNU/Linux solution. Although most apps could find Free software replacements, there will always be that one 'show-stopper, must-have' application that only runs on Windows. This would allow companies to use JBridge as a crutch until they can eliminate their dependency on the offending Windows app.

I think WINE and Samba will probably be as close as freeware gets. That 'publishing the API remedy' possibility may end up being one giant leap for mankind though, should that happen (and I think it may).

Here's an ascended solution for Ultra workstations (with 2 free PCI slots). This enables Sun anyway, to address the legacy Crapware issue that prospective workstation customers might have. It should be a very effective sales tool at any rate.

Of course I was initially looking at Go-Joe as research towards a possible First-Unity investment. I will try to warn you if I invest so that you can pull your money out before the inevitable plummet. ;)

Have you been able to find any data, or a web site for First Unity? There isn't much information that I'm able to find.
