Good point nihil. The supreme court did reaffirm the right of people to own slaves just before the war between the states. The supreme court is hand picked for their views by corrupt politicians. How right can they be? Not very IMO!

You please note that Abe Lincoln used a proclamation to try to overturn what he thought was a bad Supreme Court decision. He didn't execute what were then legal slaveholders to make his point.
