Jaymin: I bought 1000 DPH on the offering but its not long term for me. It might well be a good long term investment but Vignette (wk 2/15), Priceline ( wk 2/22) and Dragon Systems will open at 20 point +/- premiums. Also United Pan Europe is good this week. To participate in these offerings you have to deal with the underwriters. MSDW is the underwriter that allows retail accounts to participate in IPOs but you have to buy secondaries also to build your brokers index or he will not get any stock from his syndicate manager. You can also get shares through an on-line broker if you are a heavy day trader (I am not) but you will probably be limited to 100 shares of a hot issue. Sorry for the late response. Rmike>
