government Y2K spending....

I'm looking for an emergency allocation for additional IT spending somewhere down the road.This would counter what many believe will be a downturn in private sector IT spending in the second half.Government agencies are to report Y2K progress by March 31 and it has already been acknowledged that most agencies will fail to comply by then.<jmho>

Mohan, Here's another tidbit from MSD from your IBD Part II article today:

We're at $12 million a day in online sales.

This is the first indication that online sales have surpassed the previous $10 million per day figure we've been given.
