Bob, Thanks for the kind remarks. I have always been befuddled and bemused by the vituperative nature of short vs.long posts. I regard the short side as a rational extension to the market. Without sellers how can there be buyers, yes? I exited the KLSE when Mahatir put an end to short selling here in Malaysia over a year ago. Not that I had any short positions. I just didn't feel it was a market anymore. (Good thing I did that. Later he said that foreign investors could no longer repatriate profits. They are just now getting ready to enact a tax instead of the across-the-board ban.) In any case, I will will be very happy the day I can say BUY WDC. Best, Stitch
