More hogwash from the fledgling TrashPoint. "Don't want to offend their bank partners" -- this from the people who called em dinosaurs (the dinosaurs I know were offended).
They have a different approach, eh? In response to the first question on the conference call, Pete K said banks that are not ready may see portal deals as threatening, but the company is convincing them this will access additional people, it will allow banks to bring their brand up at once, similar to a virtual branch on every internet streetcorner at no cost. This didn't sound very negative, and if they have any brains, which I doubt, TrashPoint is using the same argument. Different approach, the only thing different is Checkfree has a working product and TrashPoint "hopes" to have one soon, but we've heard this soon now since 1997, yeah, that's different.

Pete you better have your Office Checked for Bugs?

I don't think it's fair to CF. Last August proved that they could keep lips tight. There were enough people on the YHOO side to spill the beans.
