Protective stop? Not me--I am thinking of a limit order to buy some more @ 17 or 18, just in case someone tries to get cute with the price in the next 1/2 hour.

Protective stops...

I watched a bunch of people get killed with those on WAVX the other day. The MMs jumped on them like bums on a bologna sandwich. The worst part is that if you put a stop on a stock and it crashes in a "fast market" they won't work anyway, the MMs are allowed to pretty much ignore them because of market conditions. In a 'normal' trading day, they hunt them down and grab them and then run the price back up (like they did with WAVX) and leave you on the sidelines.

Mental stops...only way to go.

Stop orders is like MM picking up gold nuggets. All they have to do is reach for the stop even if they have to sell to each other to get to the stops.
