OSLO, Feb 4 (Reuters) - North Sea storms forced tankers to halt loadings from offshore buoys at the Statfjord and Gullfaks oilfields on Thursday but Norwegian state oil firm Statoil [STAT.CN] said it had no plans to cut production.

"Loadings were suspended at 4 a.m. (0300 GMT). There are three tankers waiting," a Statoil official said. She said storage tanks in the hollow legs of the platforms had capacity to enable the fields to produce oil normally until Monday.

Winds gusting up to 63 knots an hour also halted helicopter flights out to the fields.

The weather forecast was for high winds until Saturday when loadings could resume, she said.

Gullfaks produced 357,953 barrels per day (bpd) in December and Statfjord 311,027.
