>>When the hell is CNBC going to stop calling EMC a disk drive company? They just got mentioned as part of the sector sell-off.>>

Right - another example of a bass ackwards "expert" analysis. DD company woes usually relate to various flavors of glut, causing dd price slashing, which plays right into EMC's strength. I'd bet that > 50% of these million dollar analysts don't understand that very simple point.

Pulse, >>>When the hell is CNBC going to stop calling EMC a disk drive company?
They just got mentioned as part of the sector sell-off.<<<

What is the preferred group or sector in which to include EMC? Storage, computers? DBC used to have a group they called that, but it's gone from this page now:

dbc.com

In fact, I didn't see EMC in any of the tech groups there. Correct me if I'm wrong. Stock without a group, like a man w/o a country?

Bob Pisani is out of it.

What I really think about EMC is that they are head and shoulders above everyone in their business, like a Cisco or Intel, and I need to get in (more than now, which is a small position).

So from reading the last 50 posts, I see a 50 day MA of 91 as very good support? However, if last Thurs - Fri were a glitch, it may take off again from where it is now, right?

Thanks for any and all help. Hi Ibexx,

Tony
