That volatility thingy I am playing with seems to work pretty well on fronting my system's entries. Maybe I should start using it for entries in anticipation of system signals. Could be a lot better off if I do that. I will have to look at that.

Doug it is based on price action

FYI, I don't always add to my position on continuation signals -- it is a judgement call. I did so today because of yesterday's price action followed by what happened today.

Reversal to the long side based on my system would be at new contract highs.

Another system that I follow -- which is very short term -- would give a buy signal at 75.50 -- though this is a price level that may change through the day -- can only get lower, not any higher
