The Ministry of Information and Communications said CDMA technology, which was first commercialized by
South Korea, helped fuel a decade-long production boom in the country. CDMA and other wireless technologies
were estimated to have created more than 260,000 jobs here, the government said. At a time when the
International Monetary Fund is pressing Seoul to attract foreign investment, the government study found that up to
$720 million in investments from Canada, the United Kingdom and the United States could be attributed to
commercialization of the technology.


It's a bit hard to understand why they're suing QCOM for 5 mil dollars under these ccircumstances...
