Get this, from today's New York Times: "Kathy Levinson, the company's president, asserted that on-line trading companies are being held to a higher standard than brokerage firms have been in the past. "In the traditional way that people invested," she said, "it didn't matter if their broker was out to lunch. No one cared if their trade was placed at 10 A.M. or 11. There is a new breed of online trader, and higher expectations have been set." Out to lunch is right.
