Good question. I supplement my income trading every month in options (getting in and out within 30 days) and it just happens to be my 'method' for my trading account. (as opposed to retirement account -- where I stick with various mutual funds).

Most of my options trades are bullish (call options) mostly in technology stocks (primarily CSCO and some others). I'm new enuf at this options trading that I haven't yet tried puts. So, I decide to stay out of issues that gap down. Altho I use some measure of fundamental analysis of rotating industry sectors for my mutual fund trading in retirement account, all I care about in my options account is technical analysis of upward momentum and thus use primarily price movement, volume movement and price congestion for upward breakouts.

The main reason I don't trade the stocks is that it is easier to make my target minimum of 25% per month in options than with stocks.
