I think it's quite hypothetical to say that Orwell would have become a neoconservative. Somehow, I don't think he was a big fan of political orthodoxy of any stripe. On the current situation, it's somewhat hard to imagine the creator of "hate minute/hour/week" and the Junior Anti-sex League siding with the true blue Clinton haters. Or the Clinton despisers, as the case may be.
