Just did a quick check on Toronto for House #16, you're right - no name! I suspect "jitney". "can it give an indication on the real buyer." Not as far as I know, in fact anonymity is their main purpose. If you check more carefully, more often than not (although not always) you'll see this brokerage buy the exact same quantity of shares as they sell. In other words "a cross" -- they're just acting as the middle man for two parties who don't wish to be identified. They will frequently do trades for mutual funds and other brokerages.
