Wow, dropped 10 points in less than two days. Nice job to all who sold at the top. (Interesting confluence of forces, too. Hasn't the Nasdaq index dropped 100 points in two days also?)

Here's some analyst updates. Pretty funny that the two adjustments contradict each other.

Cheers,
Gene

From briefing.com:

. Hewlett-Packard (HWP) lifted from "underperform" to "market perform" by Donaldson Lufkin Jenrette. PaineWebber downgraded the company from "buy" to "attractive."

Gene

I'm trying to plan my exit for the Feb 75 puts I bought. On the one hand, trying not to be greedy, but on the other hand, trying to make sure I'm positioned to exploit a drop back to 68 or so. (I even think 68 is a bit high, given the performance of HWP.)

Any one have any technical analysis they'd like to share?

Thanks,
Gene
