Stephen Carter, who is directing the strategy, said
224 of the Fortune 500 companies are headquartered
in SBC or Ameritech states.
"Those 224 companies operate more than 4,700
facilities in Boston, Miami and Seattle alone," Carter
said, "spending nearly $125 million annually on local
and long-distance service. These are terrific initial
markets for us.

Pat: Not officially. But with the stock languishing in an otherwise
explosive Tech mkt, it had been suggested they should/might to improve their current valuations.

Currently, my guess is that ALA is on the Analyst Temporary Boycott list in retaliation for the jolt they suffered last summer.
