Amazon is a leader and any fool who argues otherwise should have their head examined. At least that is true this year and into next. The threat to Amazongonenutty's current stock price isn't that the company will be defeated by other large companies. Although that may happen, it also may be that Amazon can maintain a leadership position among the top ten e-tailers.

IMO, that is NOT primarily where the threat to Amazon's high stock price will come from. Amazon grew by 230+% last quarter but total e-commerce grew by about 4.5 times. ALL of the leaders are loosing market share because of a commoditization of the marketplace and a broadening out of competition - the likes of which has never been seen in the history of the planet. And the fun has hardly just begun - it will really start to kick in by late this year and next.

How many more Yahoos! and Amazon's will there be and how many more interesting and usefull other sites? I can hardly wait to be won over by new competition!
