Dang Gary, Having 3 threads on PCTR is a real hassle. Here's a copy of my post to Dave about the game on one of the other threads:

The good folks at Perceptronics scrambled today to address
problems people were having launching the demo. They made changes
and it is now working perfectly on my system. I think it may be
necessary also to delete every last remnant of older versions of Cosmo
Player from your system before installing 2.1. I uninstalled it and still
found old files left over by doing a "find" from the start menu for
"cosmo" which I then deleted. After installing 2.1 and firing up the demo,
it took about 5 minutes to load with a 56K modem connected at 51K.
One thing they added today was a status bar so you can see what's still
loading.

As far as the game itself, it looks real good - as good graphically as any
other 3D game on the market. That in itself doesn't seem like a big deal
until you realize that you received the entire package over the internet
and there isn't 400 MB of files on your hard drive to support it. The
game runs fast and is slightly challenging for 1 person. I was able to win
regularly after a few practise runs. I was definitely impressed. The real
clincher comes when you are able to row with a teammate sitting at
another computer elsewhere on the internet with no lag. Anyone who has
played Quake, Monster Truck Madness, or any other game on services
like MPlayer or Ten knows how frustrating the lack of real-time
synchronization between players is. That is the issue this new tech should
address. I think we have a winner here.
