You might look at The Electronic Day Trader (Friedfertig & West) and perhaps Trading For a Living (Elder) and maybe check out another book on trading psychology.

To gamble is to place a bet with the odds less than 50%

To speculate is to place a bet with the odds greater than 50%

In vegas the customer is gambling and the house is speculating.

The art of trading is to know when the trade one wants to do is speculating and not gambling.:-)
