Patrick, in the case of LSI I don't subscribe to the "gap" theory.
I simply regard the move up as "too far, too fast" #reply-7646752.
The 21-23 support points are only TA potential support points
formed by the previous history of buying and selling.

patrick tang: Re: >>From a fundamental view of things, I never expected LSI to drop so far so fast.<< Quite frankly, LSI has stood up very well. Based on the bear tone of the overall market I had expected LSI to sell off quicker and deeper...we're only down <4 points from the recent high and still above the 21 breakout. And I do agree that 23 will hold. If not, 21 is the bottom. IMO!

I dumped at 25 3/8 today having ridden this baby for a long long while..still not even but will jump in again on the way UP! And, as I thought the market (DOW initially) was recovering, I moved the money into TUTS! This is sure to be a joy ride!!! (Closing my eyes and holding on! can't do T/A here.)

Whoops...forgot!....still got a few LSI July calls so I'll still be around.

If the market opens "down" bigtime in the morn, we may see the end of the sell off and a big bounce at the close, if not sooner...but this could be only a bear rally... Bottomline, this market needs to correct...and don't think that LSI or other select stocks are completely insulated in a down market -- or from 'big mouth' CEO's (Eric B.) and so-called ex- M/L top analysts...Yes, Tom K. - you!!!

Good luck,

FNS
