Alto De Lipangue, Chile: Diamond Drilling Program Commences on Porphyry Style Copper/Gold Deposits Identified by Gordon House P. Geo. LAKE ELSINORE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 4, 1999--Gordon House, P. Geo identified numerous diamond drill targets on Medinah's Alto de Lipangue property. His work at Alto de Lipangue included an IP survey of a previously discovered breccia zone. The survey was designed to expose a suspected underlying intrusive. Alto de Lipangue produced ore averaging 59 grams of gold and 104.1 grams of silver per ton over an eight-year period commencing in 1946. It is suspected that the precious metals were infused into the rock, vein and manto structures by the intrusive. The intrusive has been identified as a copper/gold porphyry style deposit that is expanding to depth. Mr. House has recommended 2,700 meters of drilling be done on identified targets. Two additional deposits have been identified on the adjoining Las Dos Marias stockworks property. Drilling will be carried out on this project after completion of the Alto de Lipangue program. Medinah's Chilean manager and the drilling crew began road access work on the property Thursday, February 4, 1999 to widen a narrow section permitting the drill rig to pass. This work will be completed Saturday, February 6, after which the drill rig will be brought up the mountain. Set up on the first drill site is scheduled for Monday and Tuesday with the drills turning by Wednesday, February 10, 1999. Gordon House, P. Geo is in charge of the project.
