maybe thats all but if I went to say what I thought was www.schwab.com and did a login and it asked me for password/userid and i entered it. well I would sure as heck expect to really be on that site.

yes it was just a duplicate profile page. but fyi, he could have done the ip thing without you even knowing of it. And if he chose to use that information in a bad way well it wouldn't really matter how well you thought his progamming skills were.

fyi: I have seen trojan horse schemes first hand where you think you are doing something legitimate and you find out later you were duped. the internet is very open to it. I normally don't suspect any of that here, but I would be very suspicious of someone trying to create a unofficial 'mirror' of a trusted site.

cheeky gives me the impression that he is showing off his programing skills, not
involved in subversive activity. >>>

Don't let cheeky fool you....he is a double agent after all....he is as subversive as you can get...well next to me that is...

he is a REBEL

I guess he and I belong together as the true double agent subversives on SI..the male and female version...

just kidding agent 86 ..kiss kiss

If I was involved in some sort of bad deeds, (which I am NOT) I sure won't make my identity known to anyone on SI.

The paranoia on SI lately is CRAZY. Does the market have anything to do with it?

Maybe because of my stance on my dislike of Y2K stocks a year ago, I didn't like them, and now look where most are.

The core of the is all steaming from my position on the Y2K subject. I wonder when I will start getting death threats???

Check it out I made the NEWS: Weekly Globe
aprilfools.infospace.com

I wonder how much controversy this article is going to cause???

In my opinion.
