Glenn -- NAS down 82 points on a billion shares -- flush the bank index down the toilet -- the momentum on the down side is just beginning to pick up speed and momentum. This is not a blip, a dip or a place to bounce. This is a move down that will leave many folks on the ride screaming 'Mary!' all the way down.

Glenn, i'm only holding short term on any new money just looking for a near term bounce on Amzn. I bought because most indicators are showing over sold on Amzn and it come off the 50 ma yesterday nicely. Bkx's is the bank index, remember i said possible reversal there, so I'd remain defensive a bit near term.

I bought more INTC based on the belief there was over selling. Is the BXX the bank index? I put it
on my screen.

I personally wouldn't be buying INTC at these levels. INTC has
lost the premium on the Intel brand label. I don't know of anyone
who would buy an AMD CPU for fear that it wouldn't run
all Wintel SW.

This means people will buy which-ever is cheaper. Now with competion
in the low and mid level cpu end, there's going to be a lot of price cutting.

INTC may own the very high end with the upcoming P3, but that's only
a limited segment of the entire PC market.

I do which you luck with INTC though, you're one of the class
acts on SI.
