nah..I dont remember how it is done..could be

but for instance
if you saw art cashin ...floor trader on CNBC today
he used a 5 multplier for the NAZ

just standard

and CNBC did a story not too long ago as to why that 5 should be reduced to a lower number

to tell you the truth

i dont remember how it was done..or the why behind it
the guy that told me how to do it works with indices for Bloomberg..and I dont remember if that one was one of those complicated formulas or one of the easy ones..

I have so much info rolling around in my head I throw out whatever I am not using...so if I think...i am just going to use 8
that is what I use and forget the rest

maybe some one else can answer you...
