"INSIDER INFORMATION" from ABT:

A close friend of mine who is in R&D for Abbot Labs told me last night that the company is nearing completion on the development of a new kind of Rx analgesic. He couldn't say much more about it than that, but looking at ABT's chart, it has come off its highs and is looking to go back down to the 40MA. Not only would that be a great BTTT play, it might also be a superb longer-term hold once news of this new drug breaks (when that would be, I don't know).

Right now, though, ABT looks shortable. I always say, "Never short ABT", in part because of my friend, and in part because it has a tremendous tradition of long-term growth. Very little can be made to the downside. But if price hits or gets anywhere near the 200MA, I'm in.

When my wife is right, she is really right! As indicated yesterday, I bought FNHC yesterday at 1 5/32, and sold out today at 1 13/16 for a 56% gain! Looks like the BTTT rules work even for the pennies!

Still looks good for more, once the price pulls back closer to the 40MA. timely.com
